We need your talent to make our night a success!

Q:  Do actors need to sign up in advance?
A: Nope.  Just buy a pre-sale ticket and show up on the night!  Be sure to write ACTOR on your name tag so our writers can identify you when they're mingling and casting.

Q: Do I need to bring headshots?
A: You can if you want, but it's not required. 

Q: How many actors will you need?
A: We need all of you to make our scripts come to life! And that means actors of all shapes and sizes. We're encouraging the writers to consider non-traditional casting, so be ready to play someone beyond your usual type.

Q: Will I definitely get assigned a part to read?
A: No, we can't guarantee you'll be cast in one of the pieces.  Arriving before 7:30pm increases your odds significantly, but there's still no guarantee.

Q: So you're saying I could buy a ticket and not get to act?
A: Yes.  This event is about giving writers the opportunity to hear their work in front of an audience. It's also an opportunity for everyone to network with other industry and artists who support women and diversity.  Many other cold reading events are pre-cast, so it's a major plus to have the chance to be cast on the spot by the writer. Everyone who attends is a valuable part of our movement!
